Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth for much fruit—John 12:24.

As Christian women, God’s desire for us to bring forth fruit. He doesn’t want us to stay in the baby stage of Christianity.

Our salvation was brought about by a young girl who said yes to the Lord’s will. One of the historic fundamentals of faith is the virgin birth of Christ. It begins with the supernatural conception of Jesus Christ in the womb of Mary without the seed of a man. Using the Virgin Birth, Jesus had the human nature of His mother and the sinless, divine nature of His Father.

Mary could have said no to the angel who brought her the message that she would be our Lord’s mother. She could have said I don’t want to suffer the consequences that go with being pregnant without being married. During that dispensation, women would be talked about, labeled, and stoned to death. Rather than thinking of herself, her answer was yes (And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord: be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her – Luke 1:38. Because of her yes, our Lord and Savior was born, and because of her yes, many souls have been saved.

God desires Christian women to bring forth fruit, which is the birthing of spiritual babies. Women have populated the earth with the assistance of man, but God also wants us to birth spiritual babies, preparing them to enter heaven and teach them how to birth spiritual babies. This birthing can be brought forth without the assistance of man.

We need to have a relationship with the Lord to experience the Fruit of the Spirit, which only comes through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He brings love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.

He gives us strength to birth spiritual babies. Birthing cause a denying of ourselves, as we grow in the Lord spiritual, we sometimes will be labeled, forsaken by family and friends. Somtimes you will spend a lot of time by yourself preparing forth spiritual birthing.

Spiritual birth causes pain just as giving birth in the natural. You have to feed yourself with the Word of God and prayer coupled with fasting. Using your time wisely, to receive what the Father has for you and not what the world has to offer you.

With the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we would not be easily angered, being gentle toward others, and wouldn’t allow jealousy or envy to be a part of our character. We would know how to dress appropriately in church and our daily lives.

When our character is that of the Lord, we draw others with our kindness, thus allowing us to minister to them the saving grace of our Lord and Savior. When we seek God through prayer and fasting, there is unity in our homes, communities, and churches.

Women comprise the biggest portion of a church congregation; many are hurt and need someone to talk to. Hurting people hurt others when they haven’t been delivered from their worldly actions. Many think they must prove themselves when they must be meek and allow the Holy Spirit to direct their thoughts and actions.

Christian women should be and are different from the nonbelievers since we are not of the world but have been brought out of darkness; our light should shine wherever we are and whatever we may be going through.

When you can treat others like Jesus, you know you are producing godly fruit from the Holy Spirit. When we produce fruit in the Spirit, we will also produce fruit in the natural. Whatever you place your hands and thoughts to do will prosper.

Many Christian women haven’t tapped into the Spirit because they placed other things before the Lord; if you want His best, give Him your best.
