Envy thou not the oppressor and choose none of his ways – Proverbs 3:31.

So often, we worry about what others think of us or what they say about us rather than enjoying life and doing those things that please God. When you please God, that is all that matters.

God did not create you to be a people pleaser. There are those who will dislike you for whatever reason they have placed in their minds. The Adversary will place people in your life to make you feel you’re not up to part.

God created you, and there is no defect in you, no matter what others may think or say. Don’t allow people to make you feel bad about yourself. People will have you jumping over hoops, and they will still find something to talk about you.

We should live and walk humbly of mind, heart, and spirit; we should think of ourselves as fearful and wonderfully made because we were created by a God who doesn’t make mistakes. God created in you gifts to glorify Him and to be a blessing to others.

Don’t spend your time wondering whether or not a person likes or approves of you. God approved you, and His approval supersedes what others think of you. Think of yourself as someone special because you are special in God’s eyes.

People will think of you and how you think about yourself. The Lord instructed Moses to send men to spy on the land of Canaan, the land He had promised to be a land of milk and honey. Ten men went, but only two returned with a good report. The other eight felt like they couldn’t take the land and thought little of themselves (And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight – Numbers 13:33). They thought themselves to be little and thought what the giants felt about them.

Sometimes, we imagine what people think about us, and they aren’t thinking about us. What we think of ourselves is what we will carry out in our character and actions. God has created greatness in you; walk and live in it!
