Words are powerful, whether we’re speaking positive or negative words. We can speak blessings or curses. Take thought of what you’re saying about yourself and others.
Words are actions; once spoken, we can’t retrieve them. What do we say about ourselves? Do we speak what the Bible says, or do we speak what the Adversary would have us speak over ourselves? Many take to social media to get the approval of others and believe what they say.
You were created by God, and He created you in His goodness. Beauty is not what shows on the outside but what comes from the inside. A person can be beautiful on the outside and ugly on the inside. Who told you that you would be nothing? Who told you that you couldn’t be successful, own a business, or own a home?
Why depend on people to tell you who you are and what you can be when the Word of God says He has created you to get wealth (But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish [confirm] His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day – Deuteronomy 8:18). This Scripture wasn’t just for the children of Israel, it is for all those that place their trust in God. Wealth is not always monetary; it can be wealth in your mind, wealth in your health, wealth in your marriage, wealth in your family relationship, as well as wealth in your finances.
Jesus came that you might have an abundant life (The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and they might have it more abundantly – John 10:10). When words are spoken to you that is contrary to what the Bible says about you, you if to dismiss the words.
If you’re around people who always speak negatively, you need to distance yourself from them. Whoever speaks words will receive a harvest, and if you agree with them, you will receive the same harvest! You can’t plant and not receive.
Speak words that will produce a good harvest in your life. Make a declaration on a daily basis by the word of God. Write them out, and place them on your mirror or refrigerator. Continue to speak them, and you will see a manifestation of the words you speak.
Don’t allow people to speak into your life misery, death, poverty, and fear. God has spoken destiny over your life, don’t abort it by what people say or think about you.
