For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end – Jeremiah 29:11.
God loves you and He wants the best for your life. He created you different from others, no one has your finger or foot print; you are the one and only you.
You are a masterpiece created by the Master. When He created you, He didn’t create someone like you. Someone may look like you, but there is something in you that no one else has. So many times we try to look like someone else, dress like them, talk like them, when God is looking for you, He sees someone else, so the blessings that were intended for you will be missed.
We allow social media to dictate who we are; we will believe everyone who says who we are, but we will not believe who God says we are. Sometimes we go through different difficulties because God is trying to remove the image of someone else from our heart and from our spirit.
Stop trying to be someone else and be yourself. You will be surprised how God will bless you and use you being yourself. We can’t serve idols, and that’s what we’re doing when we try to be like someone else. You don’t know what the person has done or is doing to be like they are.
When you pray, you want God to see you and not someone else. God has placed something in you that is different from everyone else, and He needs to be able to use what He has placed in you. When we try to be like someone else, we make people lose their blessings God has placed in us for them because we’re trying to be another person and not what God has made us.
God knows His thoughts towards you, He knows the blessings He has for you. He knows what He has placed in you and He wants it to come forth to magnify Him and to be a blessing to someone else. You can’t be a Mary when you’re acting out the role of Martha.
Be thankful for who you are, and you will see God’s hand moving you where He wants you to be when you be yourself, by loving yourself and knowing that God’s thoughts towards you are good, and the blessings of the Lord make you rich, and He added no sorrow with it.
