And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God – Romans 12:2.

When you have a mindset to invest time, effort, and money into reading, hearing, and studying God’s Word, your life will be changed into His image.

When you have tried everything, your life is not where you want it to be. You need to try Jesus and the Word of God. Both He and His Word are life-changing.

Many Christians attend church on Sunday and hear a short sermon or attend Bible Study mid-week for about an hour, but don’t feast on the Word of God daily. When the Word of God is planted in our hearts, it gives us a new look at life and the things of the world.

Many professing Christians want to be like Jesus, but they will not make an investment in their time to read the Bible. One can’t be like Jesus if they don’t have the Word. The Word of God is what the Spirit of God uses to make us like the Son of God.

Many Christians are blessed financially, but they are starving spiritually. It’s like going to the bank trying to withdraw money when you haven’t put anything in the bank. If you don’t put the Word of God in you, you can’t get anything out of it.

Jesus stated He was the living bread ( I am that bread of life – John 6:48). We eat bread for nourishment; when we feast on God’s Word, we feed our spirit. We must be strong spiritually; this will enable us to please God, and it will also enable us to fight the attacks Satan throws at us.

Satan does not care about you shedding tears; as a matter of fact, he likes it when he sees you crying and feeling bad about yourself. When your spirit man is full of the Word of God, you will fight Satan with the Word of God, and He will no longer be able to bully you.

Satan fights us in our minds with thoughts that numb us in our emotions. When you have the Word of God in you, when Satan brings a thought, you counteract it with the Word of God. You’re fighting someone you can’t see, one that brings about all types of influences and evil thoughts.

If you invested in anything, why not invest your time in spending time with the Word of God? What you invest in will give you an overflow of life and happiness because you will understand the God you serve and who you are in Him.

The truth will set you free in your mind, will, and emotions.
