Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God – Hebrews 12:2.

Every book has an author, and the author starts with the book’s contents, then gives the introduction, the beginning, and the ending. Before you get to the end of the book, the contents describe what is happening. Sometimes there is good, bad, and ugly in the book, but before you get to the end, the story turns to the good that makes up for the bad and ugly the person went through.

Your life has a story; God spoke destiny in your life and over your life before you were born. In each stage of life, we’re living out the contents. We have good times, bad times, crucial times, crazy times, and times we’re wondering what in the world is going on, but mind you, the Author is looking over every stage of your life to bring you to an end.

God wants the best for you; He has given you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to be successful in this life. Wishful thinking will not do it; you have to purpose what you want in life and then do what’s needed to accomplish it.

Even when it comes to prayer, whatever you’re asking God for, you also have to make an effort. If you’re praying for a better position at your employer, do extra work, be promotionally prepared, and learn about the position you want to excel. As you apply yourself, God will open that door for you. Every prayer must be done in faith, accompanied by you doing something.

God gives us ideas; sometimes, He deals with us in dreams and visions. Journal what He gives you; if it’s a business, ask Him for the business structure and how to start your business. God talks; you have to listen for His voice. His instructions may not be verbal, but He will use different avenues to give you the answer.

Don’t give up when your chapter comes to hard times, hurt, and disappointments; this is your time for testing. This is when you have to think in faith, speak in faith and wait in faith. No matter what is happening, you must remember Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of your faith.

God will give you your heart desires when you stand in faith and are not double-minded. He will bless your family, your marriage, your extended family, your business; you name it, God can do it for you. He can give you above that you can ask or think about. He’s the Creator, the Masterbuilder.

At the end of your story, you want to make sure you have the right relationship with the Father; there is life after death, and you want to wake up in the cool section, not the burning section.
