Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest – Matthew 11:28.
Life lessons will give us pressure; sometimes, the pressures of life make you think you will not make it, but when you have the Lord on your side, you will come out if you hold on to faith.
Faith is two-fold; there is positive faith and negative faith. The Adversary wants you to have negative faith because it’s the opposite of what God wants you to have. Whether you are a believer or a nonbeliever, we all have faith in something or someone.
Place your faith in someone who knows all about you; His name is Jesus. When the burdens of life bring us down, He’s there to give us joy and peace as He walks us through the journey of life. Too many times, people want to live without Him, but it’s His grace and mercy that keep us breathing.
He’s a friend who sticks with you through everything life brings, and He will never leave you or forsake you. He’s there in the midnight hour to comfort you when others have forsaken you. He can turn tears of sorrow into tears of joy. He’s the only man who can make you cry and not hurt you, but gives you tears of joy.
When you feel as though you are alone, talk to Him; He’s always present. You can place your trust in Him with all your cares because what concerns you, concerns Him, and He will perfect those things that concern you.
Whatever you have done or are doing, you can go to Him just as you are. He came to set the captive free. He’s full of Grace and Mercy, and He will accept you just as you are. You don’t have to try to make Him love you because He already loves you with an everlasting love.
His hand is always stretched out to receive you as His own. Would you accept His invitation of salvation and love? All you have to do is confess your sin and ask Him to come into your life and be your Savior. It’s just that simple. Find a church that is teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and allow Him to lead and guide you.
You will never be sorry that you accepted His invitation!
