Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light – Matthew 11:28-30.

We have been invited to come to the Lord with our problems and burdens. He is never too busy to listen and will never tell you to call back.

Sometimes, we need someone we can talk to, but we find ourselves wondering who we can talk to without them giving out the information we gave them. You can rest in the Lord, and you can tell Him everything that concerns and bothers you without being condemned.

His counseling is free of charge, and you can reach Him any time of the night or day. He will not get your name or prayer mixed up with anyone else. He is the best friend you can ever have, plus He’s the One who gave His life for you. He’s concerned about what concerns you.

Many are burden and carrying weights that are weighing them down because they’re carrying something He didn’t tell us to carry; He wants you to cast your cares upon Him. If you allow Him, He will take that burden. He will fix things that concern you, but you must tell Him about it.

The Lord is your strength, He is your peace, He is your provider, He is your physician, He is your protector. He will be what you need Him to be. Did you know you can talk to the Lord? He wants to hear what’s on your heart and mind.

If you have a decision to make, welcome Him in, and He will direct your path. If you need a favor, God can give it. If you need peace in your mind and home, ask Him, and it shall be given. The Lord can open doors that man can’t open. He can promote when man will not.

The Lord welcomes you to tell Him what you need. Friends will listen, but sometimes they can’t do what’s needed. There is nothing too hard for the Lord. He can create, and He can remove. Have a talk with Jesus and tell Him His ears are always attentive to your prayers and just holding a conversation with Him like you would do with a friend.
