Helping Women Build their Faith and Relationship with God

Happy young girl praying with her eyes closed

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him – James – 5:16.

The Bible admonishes the believer to pray for one another; today we go before the Father on behalf of our sisters, whether they are believers or non-believers.

Father, we come before you on behalf of our sisters in the name of Jesus. Your Word has promised if two agree on anything they shall ask of the Father, it shall be given to them. We bring before you those who have not accepted your salvation; we pray that the Word of God will find them, arrest them, and deliver them from the bondage of sin. We pray for those that confess salvation but are not living according to what salvation gives them.

We pray for those who have lost loved ones; we pray that the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding will rest upon their hearts, minds, and spirits. We pray for those that are in the midst of emotional pain; we pray that you will heal their broken hearts. We pray for those that are raising children alone, encourage them, and heal every area of their being that has been broken. We pray that You will supply their needs for them and their children.

We pray for those who feel as though no one loves them, Father; let them feel Your love and Your presence. We pray for those abused, deliver them from their abusers, those held captive against their will, let the authorities find them, and free them from their captors.

We pray for those that have fallen weak in the faith; strengthen them by Your Spirit, uphold them, keep them, and minister to them in the areas they are weak. Open doors for my sister that is looking for employment, doors of employment that man can’t close because You opened the door for them.

Release a spirit of prayer upon my sister and me, and help us to always pray for one another. Help us to love one another, help us to be kind and generous to one another, and help us to stay in unity. These prayers we ask in the precious name of Jesus, Amen!
