Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before – Philippians 3:13.
God has allowed us to see another year, a year we have never experienced or seen. Many make resolutions for the New Year, some can be accomplished and some will not be accomplished. Each year brings in a new season of tests and trials; but whatever the year brings, you must have a made-up mind that the Father is not allowing these things to be without having you in His mind for you to overcome it and be victorious.
Life is not a bed of roses, but you can smell like a rose in the sight of God when you allow Him to have His plans to become your desires. This new year concentrates on your goals and leaves whatever life baggage brought you last year behind you. You can’t go forward if you’re looking behind you. Always invite the Father in your plans, and He will instruct you on how to accomplish your goals and dreams when you acknowledge Him. God loves you and He wants the best for you, and as for you, you should give Him your best, and that will be a submitted life to Him.
