Helping Women Build their Faith and Relationship with God

Fruitfulness

Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit (John 12:24).

Do you know Satan has a plan for your life just like God has a plan for your life? It doesn’t matter whether or not you are a believer or non-believer both have a plan and whoever you yield yourselves to will be the one who will fulfill the plan for your life. God’s plan is for you to prosper in every area of your life. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. The God we serve is Sovereign, He sees the future, present, and the past. Nothing happens in our life that He doesn’t know. Some things we may have gone through may make us think if God loves me the way the Bible says He loves me, why did I go through some of the things I went through? God never goes over a person’s will, He made all of us free-will agent, so whatever we decide to do whether it’s good or bad, He’s not going interfere, if so He would be going against His Word.

Some have experienced a lot of abuse while growing up through parents, siblings or other family members and as a result, a deep root of shame and low self-esteem developed. Every time you do something it has to be done perfectly if not, guilt and shame will be overwhelming. Guilt is the feeling that results from actual or imagined wrongdoing.

When we feel guilty, we often try to pay for the wrong that we did by sacrificing something, and the majority of the time it is our righteousness, feeling right about ourselves. Guilt is dead work, it’s the energy that we put out that doesn’t produce anything. It doesn’t produce anything that is positive.
