And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not faint – Luke 18:1

Prayer is communicating with God; this is something we should always do before we start our day and at the end of our day.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, thanking You for Your goodness and mercy. Thank You for allowing us to see a day we have not seen before. Thank You. When we awaken, we awaken with soundness of mind. We woke up in warm beds and shelter.

Thank You for warm homes, running water, heat, and electricity. Thank You for blessing us to bathe and clothe ourselves. Thank You for the activity of our limbs. Thank You for our spouses, children, and extended family.

Thank You for Your protection and provision. Thank You for our jobs and business. We pray Father for Your divine protection to continue to be upon and round about our family and us. We pray for those who have lost loved ones that Your peace will be upon them that surpasses all human understanding.

We pray for the homeless that You would open doors of housing and shelter. We pray for those who are hungry that You would feed them, send people in their path who will buy them food, or give them money for food.

We pray You would send ministering angels to protect our children from any type of harm, mentally, emotionally, or physically. Assist our children to be able to comprehend and apply academically. Bless them with wisdom both for the natural and spiritual. Protect their minds and hearts from any teaching that goes against Your principles.

Have mercy and turn our hearts towards You again. Purify our hearts and spirits. Purify our thoughts and our motives. Help us to be vessels for You to bring others into the knowledge of Your dear Son. Help us to always know that You are with us and you’re listening to our prayers and worship.
