Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in – Psalm 24:9.
When we’re going through difficult times and situations, the Adversary speaks to our minds to try to influence us to believe that we’re alone, God’s not there, and we’re on our own, but that’s a lie. The Lord will never leave or forsake us.
God loves you; you can’t earn His love, and neither can you do something so wrong that He will draw His love from you. God loves you, and there is nothing you can do about it!
No matter what you’re going through in life or how difficult the circumstances may be, God’s love is constantly flowing towards you (When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle [scorch upon thee – Isaiah 43:2). The Lord is the only One that can feel what you feel and can bring you out.
When you’re experiencing difficulties, the Spirit of God is closer to you than when things are going well. He’s there to listen to you, and He’s waiting for you to tell him the troubles of your heart. He’s there to comfort you and guide you through life’s difficulties. His love is not based on what you have or haven’t done but on what Jesus did for you.
Indeed, God doesn’t like everything we do, but He never stops loving us. You must tell yourself that God loves you and is there for you; if not, the Adversary will make you think you’re alone. Although you can’t see Him, God is always with you when you do good and bad.
When you begin to say out loud, “God loves and accepts me,” your soul becomes saturated with life, and as a result, the way you think and feel about yourself begins to change. When you repeat something long enough, you will begin to believe what you hear!
God loved you so much that He gave His Son for your sins and the world’s sins. His love can’t be earned; it’s a gift. Except His love, believe His love, and know that you’re not alone; God is always with you. You are not alone; you have the Father, Son, and heaven’s angels watching over you twenty-four hours a day.
