O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He has done marvelous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory – Psalm 98:1.
Just as Jesus has victory, He has given victory to everyone who trusts and has faith in Him. There is no defeat in Him; neither will it be in the believer.
So often, as Christians, we struggle with our faith that the Lord wants us to have victory in every area of our lives. Faith comes by hearing the Word and then speaking the Word. If all we place in our hearing is the things of the world, that is what we will speak.
The Bible does not say we will not have difficulties, but it does indicate that whatever we go through, the Lord will deliver us from them all. Too often, we place our faith in what we see, hear, and feel. God does not tell us to walk or live by our feelings but by faith.
You have to believe that God is for you and not against you. He is the one who will bring you victory. Build your faith in God by studying His Word and allowing it to penetrate your heart and mind. Reading the Word of God will uproot doubt and unbelief.
You can’t speak the Word if you don’t know the Word. Neither will the Word work if you don’t believe. If we can believe in people, why can’t we believe in the God who created the people we believe in? God is greater than anyone we place our faith in. He’s greater than anything we are going through. We’re talking about the God that created everything. The sun does not rise unless He tells it to rise; the moon does not come out unless He tells it.
Every morning when we wake up, it’s not the alarm clock; it is He who spoke to us to wake up! He has all power in His hand. He is all-knowing. He is Elohim, the Sovereign, Mighty Creator. Jehovah, the Unchangeable, Intimate God. El Shaddai , The All-Sufficient One, Adonai, Lord and Master, Jehovah Jireh, The Lord My Provider.
By prayer, make your request to the Lord and believe He will answer your prayer. Have faith in Him and His Word.
