For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul – Matthew 16:26.

Many think they are successful when they have plenty of money, degrees, fine homes, and cars, yet many are going to counselors because they don’t have peace in their minds and souls.

Many of the women of God are living in the soulish realm rather than the spiritual realm. When we live in the soulish realm, we live in carnality. We must be able to discern when we are operating in our own soul and when we are in the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit lives in our human spirit and desires that we bring God’s mind and will into every situation of our lives. If we’re too full of ourselves, we will go our own way, living in our own thoughts, desires, and feelings.

When we live according to our desires and not the desires of God, we usually cause sorrow. We fill ourselves with the things of the world, and our spirits are empty. We feed ourselves with all the different social media platforms, but we don’t take time to feed on the Word of God.

Every one of us has an adversary, and his goal is to steal, kill, and destroy. He suggests that if you had more money, you would be happy. Purchasing items you can’t afford would make you happy. If you were married or divorced, you would be happy. None of these will make you happy for long; after a while, you will find yourself falling back into the same emotional despair.

Your spirit is empty and is crying out to be connected with God’s Spirit. Jesus came to give you peace in your mind, heart, and spirit, but you can’t get that peace if you never spend time with Him. If you’re filling yourself with worldly things.

Just professing to be a Christian is not enough; you have to live out the life you profess. As Christian women, we must be submissive and committed to the things of God. Be connected with God, and He will give you the desires of your heart. The blessings of the Lord make you rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

Jesus will give you joy, something that nothing or no one can give you. When you commit yourself to the Lord, He will be committed to you, and nothing or no one will be able to take your joy and happiness. Live the life you’re professing, then will you have the peace and joy you’re looking for.
