Helping Women Build their Faith and Relationship with God

Many hands together: group of people joining hands

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven – Matthew 18:19.

Prayer is for those who believe in God and the power of prayer. Prayer connects us with God, and it builds our faith.

God’s Word is true; we can depend on Him and His Word. God’s Word is established in heaven, and it will not return to Him void. The problem is that so many of God’s people don’t want to pray. God can’t answer a prayer that has not been prayed!

Jesus instructed His disciples, then and now, that where two or more would agree in prayer, they would receive what they asked for. Ask God to give you a prayer partner. He will give you a woman of God who is faithful to God and faithful to prayer.

It’s good to have a prayer life: little prayer, little faith; big prayer, big faith. But sometimes we need someone to pray with us, someone who joins their faith to ours to get an answer to prayer. Some things we’re praying about need joined faith to get an answer.

When the armed service faces an enemy too strong for them, they call in backup to join them; that’s natural. We need to do the same thing spiritually. We’re fighting against an unseen force that only the Spirit of God and His servants can come against.

Jesus never would have recommended having someone to pray with us if it wasn’t needful. With everything going on in the world, those who profess to be Christians need to pray. The prayer time does not have to be long, but it should be long enough for heaven to hear and send help.

Be strategic with your prayers; do more praying than holding conversations. Believe God for what you’re praying for, and keep praying the same thing until you receive an answer. The only way a change can be made in our situations and the world’s condition is prayer.
