And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint – Luke 18:1.
Prayer is the key when trouble comes into our lives; it does not always move the problem, but it will give us the strength we need until God resolves the problem.
Holy God, righteous God, we come before You today asking for forgiveness for any sin we may have committed against You. We ask that You open our eyes to where we have sinned, and we ask that You strengthen us so that we will not continue in that sin.
We pray for marriages and families today. We ask that You bless marriages, remove anything and anyone that is in marriages that should not be. We pray that You place unconditional love in their hearts for each other. We pray that You help them to forgive each other and be determined to live in a happy and prosperous marriage.
We pray You will reconcile children to their parents and their siblings. Destroy the spirit of division that has brought division to the family. Help the parents to love the children, help the children to love the parents. Help the children to love one another and strengthen the relationships between parents, children, and siblings.
Marriages where one spouse is saved and the other isn’t; Father gives the spouse strength to believe You for their unbelieving spouse. Help them to live a life according to the Bible, being an example of a godly wife. One who loves You and reveres You. Perfect, that is a concern in their marriage. What concerns them concerns You, and You promised You would perfect those things that concern us.
We pray that You will be the head of every marriage, as we allow You to be head. You will lead and guide both spouses. You ordained marriage, making marriages an example of You in their actions towards each other.
We pray for those that has separated; reconcile them; help them to see themselves and not just their spouse, what they contributed to the separation. Help them to see the Adversaries and fight them, and not their spouse.
We ask these prayers in the Name of Jesus, Amen!
