Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends – John 15:13.

Love is one of God’s attributes, we don’t have to try to earn His love because we can’t. His love is unconditional. You don’t have to jump over hoops and do flips for His love.

Valentine Day’s is a day that people show their love towards their spouse a little bit more than they usually do by buying them gifts and flowers. You may not have a spouse to show that extra kindness and love on this special day that has been set aside to celebrate love. You may have a spouse but they don’t show their love the way you expect them to do; it could be he just doesn’t know-how. If you’re still married, then most likely he loves you. Thank God for him, and know that you’re loved.

You may not be married, and you desire to have the affection, if you will allow God to show His affection towards you, you would feel the greatest love that can only be given by the Father through His Son. You’re not alone, God is always there with you even if you can’t see Him. He promised He would never leave you or forsake you. He promised by His Word that He would supply your needs. He promised that He would love you unconditionally. The love God has for you can’t be compared to human love.

If you feel that no one loves you, know that you have the greatest love that you can ever receive; God loves you with an everlasting love!
