According as His divine power hath given unto us all thing that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue – 2nd Peter 1:3.

New converts are looking for churches where they can be nourished and fed the Word of God. You see, you can have the experience of salvation and receive a new heart but still, miss the experience of walking into your spiritual destiny, your spiritual inheritance, the portion that is supposed to be implanted in your heart.

After you received a new heart, that heart must continually be fed by your heavenly Father. Receiving your spiritual inheritance is an ongoing process. Every new convert must go through the growing process. The process is similar to the growth of a baby. When a baby is first born, they sleep a lot, gradually they begin to distinguish between night and day. The baby doesn’t continue to stay an infant, they grow to become toddlers, adolescents, pre-teens, teenagers, young adults, middle age, and senior citizens. This is the same baby but has gone through different growth stages.

Just as a baby grows, Christians suppose to grow spiritually. You can miss out on all He has for you if you try to diminish the experience by accepting it as a one-time event. Just as you need daily nourishment to keep your physical body alive, you need to receive your daily spiritual portion from your Father to reach your full potential in Jesus Christ.

In order to grow spiritually, you must be in the church God has assigned spiritual parents. You can’t grow spiritually by staying at home and attending church every now and then (Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing – Psalm 92:13. Spiritual growth comes by having the right spiritual parents, attentive to being around other believers.

The purpose of the church and the spiritual positions God and the pastor have placed in the church is to assist with your spiritual growth, by equipping you to grow into mature saints. The pandemic caused many churches to close their door for about two and half years, and once they re-opened, people are continuing to stay home and watch on the phone, computers, or television. The Bible admonishes Christians to not forsake themselves from the church.

As Christians everywhere mature in Jesus, maturity will come to the body of Christ. The Father wants us to grow into the image of His Son. He wants Christians to be united for whatever denomination they joined. God uses His people to minister by His Spirit to others. He wants to see the Fruit of the Spirit being manifested through you, as well as the gifts of the Spirits.

People are hurting and afraid of all that is happening in the world, Christians are the ones God will use to minister to those that are hurting and afraid. God has placed gifts and talents in you to be a blessing to others. You don’t need a spiritual position or title, all you need is to be subject to the instructions of God.

Your spiritual connection with the Father will not only bless you, but He will make you a blessing to others. Because you are a daughter of God, He will open doors that have been closed. He will give you the desires of your heart because He has given you a new heart, a heart that is yielded, and willing to be used for His glory!

As you continue to seek God and His will for your life, you will be unstoppable! There is nothing you can’t do or accomplish when you have the Father on your side.
