For a seed to be sown, it first needs something to be sown into. Our spirit and soul are where seeds will be sown.

Seeds are sown daily by us and by others. We’re either sowing good seeds or corrupt seeds. Seeds are sown through our eyes and ears. So many times, women have received seeds sown by others that will make them depressed, feel bad about themselves, making them feel worthless because of what they have heard through social media and others, the adversary has brought into their lives to abort the plan and purpose of what God has for their lives.

Your self-worth is not what others say about you, but what God says about you. Whether you’re a Christian or a nonbeliever, you can’t believe everything you hear and see. If Hannah had believed the report Peninnah was saying about her, she never would have received her miracle.

You can’t believe the report you say to yourself, and what others say about you. Stop trying to prove to others your worth! If you’re Christian, God has claimed you as His child, and being His child, you receive the benefits of being a child of the King of Kings.

Rather than spending your time trying to prove yourself, spend time with God by praying, reading His Word, and allowing His Word to build you where you have been worn and torn down. What is going on in social media is not to build you, but to destroy your confidence in God and yourself.

You don’t have to compete with others; a lot of the time, what they say they have or what they have done is a lie. Children compete with others; they tire others down to make themselves look good. Mature adults know who they are and what they can accomplish without trying to prove themselves.

Have the God-kind of faith, live as children of God, and it is He that will exalt you, and not yourselves. Words are sown in our spirit and soul, and what we hear and see will eventually begin to manifest itself in our souls.

Know that you’re a royal seed, your Father is the Creator of all things and everything. You’re so special. He gave you your own hand and footprint. You are an original; you can’t be copied. Feed your soul and spirit with God’s Word.

Be conscious of what you allow into your eye and ear gates.
