Marriage is sacred, just like our bodies are sacred. Marriage was created by God and so are our bodies. When women confess to being Christians and they dishonor their bodies to men that are not their husbands it is not pleasing in the eyes of God.
Believe it or not, God knows more about your body than you do. He’s very much aware of your hormones and the desires the body craves, but if you want to have a blessed life, don’t dishonor your body with someone that is not your husband. God can and will bless you with a husband when you do it in God’s way and not your way. You don’t hear much about virtue or chastity today, but God nor His Word never changes, and if you want the blessings and the protection of God in your relationship, it has to be marriage.
God will never bless a relationship that is not under His covenant. If we say we’re Christians, then we need to act as Christians, true Christians don’t have sex without marriage. There is no such thing as a friend with benefits, some call them their friend, thinking it would make it sound better. As Christian women, your lifestyle must align itself with the Word of God (I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service – Romans 12:1). Your body has been bought with a price, Jesus didn’t die in order for you to continue to practice sin. As professing Christians, honor yourself and your body. If he says he loves, then he should love you enough to marry you. First of all, as a Christian, you should only be dating those that are Christian according to the Bible, and if he’s a Christian, he shouldn’t be requesting anything from you that will dishonor you or influence you to sin.
The world sees nothing wrong with sex without marriage, that’s what they do, they see nothing wrong with it because they don’t adhere their lives to the Word of God. As a Christian woman, you’re in the world, but you’re not of this world because your spirit and soul have been regenerated by the Spirit of God, He and His Son are living within you’re being (Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make abode with him – John 14:23. The majority of professing Christians don’t want to hear about being a virtuous woman, but if they want to live again after death without being in torment they need to adhere to the Word of God.
Influences to have sex without marriage comes from some actors and entertainers, movies, television programs, but they never tell you the consequences of the actions; most of the time the woman is left raising the child or children by herself because the father has abandoned them and the child. Chances of sexually transmitted diseases, sex with the same gender not being aware the person has changed their gender. If death comes while in the position of sexual gratification without marriage your destination will be hell (But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death – Revelation 21:8.
Take time to read and study the Word of God, know what He approves and disapproves of, Ministers that teach abstinence are trying to keep you from entering into hell as well as not having your prayers answered because of disobedience to the Word of God. There is nothing in the Bible God has instructed the believer not to do that He has not empowered them not to do that’s why the wages of sin is death. What the world approves, God disapproves, at the end of life you will not have to answer to the world, but to God!
