The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry – Psalm 34:15.

As Christians, we will suffer, not because we have sinned but because God is purging us from all unrighteousness as well as the attacks of Satan.

Many Christians have been misled to think because they become a Christian, they will no longer have trouble and hurt. Just like we prune a rose bush for it to grow, God prunes His people to mold and shape them in His image.

Don’t fear or give up when God chastises you; He’s creating faith, hope, and dedication in you. Job was a man who loved God and shunned evil, but God was bragging about Him, and Satan asked for permission to come against Job.

Some of the things we go through as Christians are because we have either sinned or God is bragging on us to Satan. Satan can’t touch you unless he receives permission from God. When God allows it, you will come out victorious if you remain steadfast in your faith in God.

Christianity does not make you exempt from the attacks of Satan and the issues of life. This is why Jesus instructed His followers to pray always (And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not faint – Luke 18:1). When trouble hits, don’t stop praying, fasting, reading your Bible or doing good toward others.

The Father will not get your prayer or name mixed up with anyone else. Jesus has already won the battle. He needs you to fight the good fight of faith. No matter what is coming against you, continue to pray; when you pray, pray in faith. If you have an offense or unforgiveness towards anyone, forgive them and release them so that your prayers will not be hindered or not answered.

What you’re going through is not because God does not love you or He’s unaware of what you’re going through. The more you grow in the Grace of God and the Spirit of God, the more you will go to different realms in the Spirit and encounter different attacks and demonic spirits.

Don’t be afraid, and don’t complain or murmur, God is with you, and He’s walking you through your exit and your spiritual growth. Christians grow in the Spirit and are equipped to assist new converts in their spiritual growth.

Never feel as though you’re alone; God is always with you, and His angels are encamped around you. God has others praying for you. You are a winner and not a loser. Victorious and not defeated! When you serve God and apply His Word to your lifestyle, you’re on the winning side; no matter what comes against you, you will have victory!
