But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light – 1st Peter 2:9.
Women with low self-esteem are always trying to prove to others who they are, but when you know who you are, you don’t try to prove yourself or desire approval from others.
Women are often influenced by the Adversary, which can cause them to fall short of their potential. Making them think they have to be in a particular class to get recognition of who they are. Many people take to social media to share what they are doing or have accomplished, but these individuals often have no idea who you are and don’t care about what you have done or are doing.
Low self-esteem is the primary reason many women experience this, as they may not have received the support they needed as a child or young adult regarding their identity. People will label you something totally different than what God has called you.
When we depend on others’ opinions, we have left God out of the equation and desire the opinion of others who are also in need of who they are. If Jesus is your Savior, you are part of a royal family; you have the Father and His angels on your side to enable you to do whatever you desire and accomplish.
When we submit ourselves to God, we are His children, and just like a good father, He will take care of His child. Not only will He supply our needs, but He will give us our heart’s desire. He gives us peace when others are fearful. He opens doors that no one else can open. He blesses us with many blessings that make us happy. He promotes and demotes. You are a child of God; you are blessed, going and coming, because the favor of God rests upon you.
He gives you joy that no one else can give or take away. You are in the palms of His hands, and He sees everything that pertains to you and will perfect that which concerns you. You serve the God of the universe, and no one or nothing is greater than Him.
You are royalty, and royalty does not mix with fleas. You are to be respected, and if anyone is asking you to go to bed without marriage, they aren’t respecting you. You aren’t to be treated in any way or talked to disrespectfully. When you take pride in who you are, others will take pride in who you are.
Stop accepting false accusations about who you are, walk and talk with confidence. Know that you have the Greater One living in you, and there is nothing He can’t accomplish through you.
